right. i totally totally totally screwed up my math test. and chinese.math is totally gone. no hope of passing.neither for chinese.basically i screwed up all my tests this term.urghh whatever.moving on.VALENTINE'S DAY!!(:thanks alina for the sweets and note and thanks mei ling for the chocolate!!(: and i ate it even though i'm not supposed to. which prob explains why my throat is dead again.and thanks whoever else gave me stuff but i cant rmb. thanks(:thanks everyone for all the SMSes and all wishing me happy valentine's(:if not for the screwed up tests it would have been quite a good day.CNY rehearsal is a waste of time. firstly we're one of the last items. like third last. so they make us go there at 230, and we have to wait till goodness knows what time to get to start. but at least we did use our time quite wisely. warmups. ran through all the entering and exiting and actions for CNY songs. ran through mamoru. did vocal training with the secones and some sectwos. did the steps for comocompongopocotoyloco. breakdown:warmups- i sound screechy like a dying chicken on the high notes=.= needa work on those entering and exiting and actions for CNY songs- for heaven's sake we are a CHOIR not a dancing troupe *saves rest of rant for more ranting later down the postrun through mamoru- we sounded quite horrible. i guess not really warmed up and stuff yet. the chording and pitching was quite off. and i think we weren't really into the mood and feeling yet. went through only very briefly though. SOULFUL SINGING(:vocal training with secones and some sectwos- okay i'm quite happy with this part. quite productive. and i realised the secones are quite good. at least some of them. like PAN JIA HUI. needa write surname since there're two jia huis. when i asked her t sing "AIR" i was really quite impressed. not very airy. but most of them have pitching problems. typical secones. actually it's not just secones. my pitching is horrendous too=.= so after telling her a little abt head voice and focused sound and non-airyness and opening mouth bigger and pitching, i kind of neglected her and tried t help train some of the sectwo alto1s. you all must work harder okay! tried to correct their airyness and lack of volume (very soft) and pitching and all. then i realised the problem with most a1s. including sec3s. their tongue rolls up when they sing! which was my problem until recently but thankfully i managed to correct it. so anyway. that's why their sound is so backward and contained and soft! cos the tongue kind of blocks the sound from projecting when it rolls back. so anyway. after a while yangzi (a1's sl) came over to listen and she said that they'd improved!!:D:D:D:D yayy i feel quite accomplished. anyway. made all of them promise to go home and practice singing with their tongue in the correct position. and work on their airyness and pitching. and volume XD i'm a demanding senior.steps for comocompongopocotouloco- the steps are so urber freaking cool and fun and funny and. unglam=.= but still really really fun and cool. hope we can pull it off well! it's like so contrasting. mamoru and como.
♥nyc(:anyway. the teachers are so demanding! not happy with this not happy with that. want us to be hyped up and look excited and energetic. then when we get actions and everything done they say we sway too much. like it's so difficult to please them. really pity jac having to deal with them.okay i really must cut this thing short before my dad slaughters me. he keeps nagging me and now i'm so pissed with him even though i know i shouldnt be. whatever. apparently he's pissed with me for being so free and using the comp and blogging. he wants me to study. he doesnt know tests are over except for IH which cannot really be studied. that's because i didnt tell him=.= so he's scolding me and getting pissed and everything. whatever.okay happy valentine's day people! and to all those couples out there hope you're having/had a great time today(:okay i'm going. bye.
