my parents are arguing again. this sucks.

day THREE 20nov monday AUCKLAND/ROTORUA
got pulled up early by mummy and daddy cos we had to take our coach at 8am to rotorua. -blahblah- caught our coach, was a 4hours bus journey. slept most of the way. walked to our motel after we reached rotorua. hot rock backpackers. the room is much smaller than the previous one. basically when the door is opened you see a small room with 4 single beds squeezed together. there's a toilet and a pantry too. the motel has one outdoor swimming pool and one indoor. both are HEATED, thank goodness. there's also this geyser pool in this small room and apparently the water's very hot cos there's loads of steam. it also stinks of sulphur. like rotten eggs! okay practically the whole of rotorua smells of sulphur. not that bad in some parts though. after dumping our stiff in our room we went out to get lunch. we settled on some kabab eatery place. the food took URBER long to come! but still it was quite nice. rushed to the information centre (some big place with nice architectural structure) to catch the coach to the sky line place. basically, first take the gondola up. it's something like our cable cars but much much higher. then we "drive" the luge thingy down. it's seriously super super cool. the first round taking the "senic track" is compulsary. after we reach down take a chairlift up again. the chairlift was quite fun. i kept swinging my legs and my mummy was so terrified. she kept thinking the the thingy would drop down or something. anyway, the second time i wanted to go on the intermediate track. but my parents refused to let me go unless one of them went with me. but neither wanted =.= so i had to go on the senic track again. so this time i decided to speed. so i went like super fast. then i didnt slow down enough to turn the bend, so i nearly overturned. FUN. but i continuied speeding anyway. reached the bottom, my mummy was last. AGAIN. cautious driver. i'm like such a reckless driver. maybe i should never go drive. took the chair leif up again. stopped at a souvenior shoo. bought myself a t-shirt that says something abt the luge. momento :D took the gondola back down again. took the coach back, but stopped at the part opposite our hotel. it's like such a pretty park! so many pretty flowers and all! and there were so many thermal areas! like pools of bubbling water and mud. like boiling. with lotsa steam! it's super cool! just that that's where all the sulphur smell comes from somehow. so it rather stinks. but aparts frm that it was really beautiful. complete immersion into God's creation. took quite alot of photos with the flowers and trees. after taking photos and walking throught the park we went to the city center. WHAT KIND OF CITY CENTER IS IT IF ALL THE SHOPS CLOSE AT 5/6PM?!? like even macdonalds was closed at like 5!! so we had nothing to eat. we made do with the groceries we bought that day to cook. oh yeah did i say they have this common kitchen where everyone can cook and eat together. it's like super cool. so like the kitchen was super crowded with alot of ppl trying to cook at the same time. but it's like urber warm and family-like. after dinner came back to the room. -blahblah- gotta wake up early again tmr. mummy wants to bring us to see more bubbling/boiling mud and water (?!) oh i wanta swim tmr!!
